A Clinical Effect of Romantase^(¢ç) on Postoperative Patientswith Indigestive Complaints



Abstract
In general, the patients complain the indigestive complaints with variable degree after any operation because of metabolic and physiological disturbances following longterm strain and none per oral.
Postprandial fullness, epigastric discomfort, bloating, and loss of appetite were included in these indigestive complaints.
Indeed the such complaining postoperative patients can not try intake per oral enough to meet for recovery phase, and should induce many complications and significant weight loss, steatorrhea, deficiency of calcium, anemia, and susceptibility to infection.
So we examined the effect of diggstive-Romantase¢ç on postopetative patients who complain many typed indigestive manifestations.
The results were follows.
1. Improvement rates on subjective symptoms were 93.3 % on postprandial fullness, 83.3 % on bloating, 76.5 % on loss of appetitie, 75.9 % on nausea and vomiting, 75 % on epigastric discomfort.
2. Overall improvement rate was 82.9 % on any typed postoperative patients with indigestive complaints.
3. There was no side effects following administration of Romantase¢ç.
In conclusion, Romantase¢ç is a safe and effective digestive on any typed postoperative patients with indigestive complaints.
